Questions
No. Curacast installs on your own machine, next to your media server, and your library never leaves your network. What you're buying is a licence to run the software, not a hosted service.
If a renewal simply fails or your server can't reach us for a while, nothing breaks — your channels carry on streaming and you just can't add new ones beyond the free limit until it sorts itself out.
If you cancel, that's different: after a short grace period your channels stop playing. Nothing is ever deleted, so activating a licence brings everything back exactly as it was. And Curacast never cuts off a programme that's already playing.
Your channels are kept, but they stop playing and you can't add new ones until you activate a licence. Nothing is deleted — the moment you enter a key, everything you built is exactly where you left it.
Only occasionally. Your licence is verified offline against a signed token, so a dropped connection, an ISP outage, or a firewall can't stop your channels playing.
